William Maguire Joins Broad and Cassel

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.; April 3, 2012 — William J. Maguire, has joined Broad and Cassel ’s Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Groups in the West Palm Beach office.

Maguire focuses his practice on commercial litigation, bankruptcy and finance matters, and has significant experience in the research and preparation stages of litigation. He is well-versed in complex mortgage-backed securities litigation and has extensive knowledge of transactional corporate and state and local tax matters.

Previously serving as a law clerk for a Fortune 500 transportation company, Maguire worked on state and local tax matters, voting arrangements, merger agreements and service agreements.

Maguire is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, cum laude, and received his juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law. He also received a Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
