its clients been faced with a serious assault on its reputation or health? It’s not
about if – but when a true crisis will present itself – typically at the most inopportune time. Our
program will include a brief discussion from prominent local reporters Julie Kay from the
Daily Business Review and Paul Brinkmann from the South Florida Business Journal on the
fundamentals of preparing for and managing a crisis followed by a case study that each of you will
have the opportunity to tackle in a simulation that includes assigned roles for four teams. Once the
situation is explained, each team/table will evaluate the facts and present their findings to the
group. The session promises to create a room full of adrenaline and an exchange of great ideas and
commentary. Crisis communications consultant Don Silver of Boardroom Communications will
moderate the session along with some of the local reporters who typically cover many of the
law firm-centric disputes and news. This professional development program will help
better equip marketing directors on how to advise and counsel their firms in crisis
situations.
