Anna Marie Hernandez Joins Broad and Cassel’s Miami Office


MIAMI, Fla.; November 10, 2011 — The Florida-based law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce that Anna Marie Hernandez joined the Miami office as Of Counsel in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Litigation Practice Groups.

Hernandez brings to the firm extensive expertise in complex business and real estate litigation, from lease disputes and title insurance litigation to commercial foreclosures and the protection of creditors’ rights in bankruptcy.

Hernandez is an active member in her community and has held numerous local and statewide leadership positions. She currently serves as a Director of the Cuban American Bar Association and of The Spellman-Hoeveler American Inns of Court. She is also involved with the Florida Bar Association and CREW-Miami, among others.

Named a “Rising Star” in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 editions of Florida Super Lawyers, she has also been named among the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “40 Under 40 Outstanding Young Lawyers of Miami-Dade County” in 2009, and as an “Up & Coming” attorney in the 2007 edition ofFlorida Trend’s “Legal Elite.”

Hernandez is a graduate of Florida International University and received her juris doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.
