Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn taps Andrea Zelman for Economic Competitiveness Committee

Tampa, FL - Andrea E. Zelman, a shareholder in the Tampa office of Fowler White Boggs, has been appointed by Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn to the Economic Competitiveness Committee. The 18 member committee will be tasked with reviewing the City of Tampa’s permitting and regulatory processes to look for ways to improve the system.

Andrea E. Zelman practices in the Firm’s Government, Environment and Real Estate Group. Ms. Zelman's primary area of expertise is in land use and environmental law, including zoning matters, developments of regional impact, comprehensive land use plans, development agreements, annexations, transportation issues, CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfield redevelopment, environmental litigation and representation before local, state and federal agencies. She is AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She received her B.S., With Honors, from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
