Garcia, a member of ZP&W’s healthcare practice group, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cuban American Bar Association (“CABA”) and a member of the Business Buddies Board for Best Buddies Miami. She is also active with the Florida Bar Association’s Health Law Section, the Dade County Bar Association, Women’s International Shipping & Trade Association and the American Inns of Court, Spellman-Hoeveler Chapter. In addition, she has served as the President of the FIU College of Law Alumni Association.
Garcia received her undergraduate degree in political science, magna cum laude, and her juris doctor from Florida International University. While at Florida International University College of Law, she served as President of the FIU College of Law Moot Court.
She resides in Miami with her husband and son.
