Steppin' Out with the Innocence Project of Florida April 27th

At this inaugural celebration the Innocence Project of Florida will highlight the inspiring lives of the 13 men who spent decades in prison for crimes they did not commit, and honor the courage and compassion of those whose efforts made these exonerations possible.

IPF is a nonprofit legal organization that works to find and free innocent people in Florida’s prisons, helps them rebuild their lives after decades of wrongful imprisonment, and works to reform the criminal justice system so wrongful convictions do not continue to happen.

The evening will include the presentation of two awards – The Talbot “Sandy” D’Alemberte Commitment to Justice Award and the Frank Lee Smith Award – as well as a VIP reception with the exonerees, silent auction and performance by DNA exoneree and recording artist, William Michael Dillon. http://floridainnocence.org/
