Duane Morris Boca Raton Office Adds Wealth Planning Partner Michael H. Leeds

BOCA RATON, February 17, 2012—Duane Morris is pleased to announce that Michael H. Leeds has joined the firm's Wealth Planning Practice Group as a partner in its Boca Raton office. Leeds joins partners Jerome L. Wolf, P.L., and Charles B. Shields, Jr., in South Florida, giving Duane Morris one of the most experienced and sophisticated wealth planning practice groups in the state. Last month, associate Angela Klemack also joined the Wealth Planning Practice Group in the Boca Raton office. The Wealth Planning group now includes 26 lawyers firmwide. Leeds joins Duane Morris from Blank Rome LLP.

Leeds counsels clients on all aspects of estate planning and administration in Florida, New York and internationally. He represents foreign investors in the United States and in business transactions in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. His wealth planning practice focuses on complex estate planning for international and domestic families, the establishment and implementation of domestic and international charitable trusts, and the administration of estates and trusts.

Leeds is a member of the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council and the Florida and New York State bar associations. He is also a member of the International Bar Association. He is a retired officer of the U.S. Army Reserve and served on active duty in support of Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

Leeds earned his J.D. in 1971 from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A. with distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, in 1968 from George Washington University.
