Doreen S. Young joins GrayRobinson

TAMPA, FL— February 14, 2012 — Doreen S. Young has joined the Tampa office of GrayRobinson, P.A. as an of counsel attorney in the securities litigation practice group. With more than 19 years of legal experience, Young has worked on a broad range of litigation matters. Her practice is focused on securities litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters.

Throughout her professional career, Young has offered personal and comprehensive representation in civil litigation matters, including probate, trust and guardianship, creditors’ rights, title insurance defense and general commercial litigation, as well as limited appellate work. For the last eight years, Young has represented clients in legal matters related to securities arbitrations, securities industry regulation and has advised clients on risk management and litigation prevention in the securities industry.

Young previously served as the president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, executive member of the Barney Masterson Inn of Court and founding president of the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation.  As an active member of the community, she served on the board of directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Pinellas County the All Children’s Hospital development council and as president of the Sunshine City Jaycees for several years.  In addition, she graduated from Leadership St. Pete’s Class of 1999 and was recognized in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “Forty Under Forty” for her accomplishments.

Young received her juris doctorate from Stetson University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Berry College.
