Burr & Forman LLP announces that labor & employment attorney Morey Raiskin has joined the firm

ORLANDO, February 7, 2012 – Burr & FormanLLP announces today that labor and employment attorney Morey Raiskin has joined the firm’s Orlando office as a partner. Raiskin brings nearly 30 years of experience in labor and employment law, advising employers on personnel matters, including personnel policy and guideline development, non-compete agreements, union-related activities and wage and hour and discrimination claims.

Raiskin has extensive experience litigating employment claims before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts across the country, including the United States Supreme Court. Prior to joining Burr & Forman, he led the Labor and Employment practice group at an Orlando-based firm and served as Lead Labor and Employment Law Counsel at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Inc. and Administrative Vice President of Sea World. Before Raiskin relocated his practice to Orlando, he represented management in the hotel and gaming industry in Las Vegas.
