Ed Waller Elected to American Inns of Court Foundation as 11th Circuit Trustee

Tampa, FL – Edward M. Waller, Jr., a shareholder in the Tampa office of Fowler White Boggs, has been elected to the national Board of Trustees of the American Inns of Court Foundation as the 11th Circuit Trustee. The goal of the American Inns of Court is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills.  Outside the courtroom and formal training, veteran, seasoned professionals can share their wisdom and insight with less experienced practitioners, individually or in small groups. Focused on the development of skills, Inn programs provide creative, practical, interactive instruction in all areas of legal practice.

Mr. Waller’s practice encompasses business litigation, class actions, health care litigation, lender liability, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights generally.  He has tried lender liability cases, fraud cases, contract cases, class action cases and other business litigation matters in state and federal courts. Mr. Waller has served on the Executive Committee of the ABA Litigation Section and served as chair of its Commercial and Banking Litigation Committee.  He is former chair of the Lender Liability Committee of the Business Law Section, also a former chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Professionalism, a member of the Florida Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, a member of the Florida Senior Judge Review Board and is a former member of the Executive Council of the Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar.
