Beth-Ann Krimsky, shareholder of the Florida law firm of Ruden McClosky has been recognized with the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County Award. The award, presented by the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County and the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center, is bestowed upon women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in business and the community.
The award was presented at the annual 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County Gala held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at The Signature Grand in Davie, Fla. Now in its third year, this event brings the community together to celebrate how far women have come in leadership in the business, community and philanthropic fields. Together with the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, this committee has been able to help provide positive alternative programs for over 11,500 at-risk children by also providing a residential treatment center that houses mothers and their children to stop the cycle of family dysfunction and substance abuse.
Ms. Krimsky attended the event with her colleagues and friends including several young high-school aged women so they could witness the variety of leadership positions available for women today and learn more about how community service improves the lives of other children.
Ms. Krimsky is a commercial litigator whose practice includes complex real estate and land use litigation as well as business litigation. She represents nationwide and local companies in a host of business disputes and serves as local counsel for many out of state companies with Florida matters. She is a fellow of the Florida Bar Foundation, a member of the Broward County Bar Association and a member of the Broward County Women Lawyer’s Association.
