LEVINE KELLOGG LEHMAN SCHNEIDER + GROSSMAN LLP NAMES JASON KELLOGG & PATRICK J. RENGSTL PARTNER

MIAMI (Feb. 28, 2011) ---- The law firm of Levine Kellogg Lehman Schneider + Grossman, LLP has named Jason Kellogg and Patrick J. Rengstl as partners. 


Kellogg focuses on commercial and corporate litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts.  He represents individuals and businesses in commercial contract and business torts disputes, construction litigation, shareholder disputes and securities litigation. 

As a litigator, Kellogg has brought business tort claims and obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of an international trade and factoring business against a Fortune 100 company, and pursued and obtained through four different courts a specific performance judgment and attorney’s fees on behalf of a national radio broadcaster. He has also devoted hundreds of hours to pro bono work, and was part of a team of lawyers that represented a former Intelligence Research Specialist in an employment discrimination and disability lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security that returned the largest jury verdict ever obtained in a "Volunteer Lawyers Project" case.

Kellogg has been recognized by Benchmark Litigation Guide as one of 20 "Future Stars" in Florida, by Florida Super Lawyers as one of its “Rising Stars” and by Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite as an "Up and Comer."  He earned his Juris Doctorate degree with honors in 2002 from Florida State University College of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Law Review, and received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1997.  He is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice by the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. 

Patrick J. Rengstl
Rengstl focuses on complex commercial litigation, receiverships in state and federal courts, insurance disputes, real estate litigation, and appellate advocacy.  He has served as lead counsel in multiple appeals and as trial counsel in various commercial disputes, and has also represented receivers in state and federal courts.  Among his significant representations are serving as counsel to the Federal Court Receivers for Trade-LLC, The Dolce Group Worldwide LLC, Timeshare Mega Media and Marketing Group, Inc., Nationwide Connections, Inc., and Pension Fund of America, L.C.
