Edwin A. Scales III, ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF FLORIDA KEYS COMMUNITY COLLEGE

KEY WEST, FL – November 16, 2011 – The board of trustees for the Florida Keys Community College has elected Edwin A. Scales III, of-counsel in the Key West office of GrayRobinson, P.A., to serve as chairman. Having been appointed to the trustee’s board by Governor Jeb Bush in 2006 and reappointed by Governor Charlie Crist and Governor Rick Scott in 2007 and 2011, respectively, Scales currently sits on the District Board of Trustees and previously chaired the board from 2007 to 2009.

“Ed has shown his dedication to the organization time-and-time again,” said GrayRobinson President Byrd “Biff” Marshall, Jr. “The experiences he has gained throughout the years will enable him to provide valuable policy direction for the community college.”
