Broad and Cassel Helps Local Kids Get Ready for Back to School

MIAMI, Fla.; August 18, 2011 — Miami Managing Partner Mark F. Raymond of the Florida-based law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce that the office recently participated in the Amigos for Kids Back to School Drive presented by Burger King Corporation.

The office collected basic back to school supplies for South Florida’s underprivileged children. Donated items included paper, pencils and erasers, pens, crayons, notebooks, pocket folders, pencil pouches and scissors. Amigos will be collecting donations before August 31. During the summer months, the firm also mentored a local student through URGENT, Inc.’s Summer Youth Employment Program. URGENT, Inc. provides social services, education, training and affordable housing, targeting neighborhoods in Overtown, Liberty City, Little Haiti and Goulds.
