Ward Damon Welcomes Two New Partners and One Of Counsel Attorney




The law firm of Ward Damon Posner Pheterson & Bleau announced that three new attorneys have joined the firm. Christopher Gagic and Sally Still were named partners, and George Weinstein has become Of Counsel to the firm.

“We’re pleased to add Chris and Sally to our list of partners,” said Jeff Pheterson, a managing partner at the firm. “Both have outstanding reputations and will bring wonderful insight to the firm. We are also fortunate to have George Weinstein, with his depth of experience from many decades of work in the field of estates and trusts, as both an attorney and as an accountant.”

Christopher Gagic focuses his practice on estate planning, special needs planning, multigenerational family and business succession plans, probate and trusts, taxation, and federal estate and gift tax returns. He is a member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and a past member of the 15th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. Gagic is a frequent speaker on estate planning, a member of the George Snow Scholarship Fund, and an adjunct professor of business law and international business law at Lynn University in Boca Raton. He received his B.A. from McMaster University and his J.D. from Western New England College.

Sally Still specializes in employment and labor related matters, including administrative actions, federal and state court litigation, arbitration and appeals. She concentrates on Title VII, ADA, FMLA, OSHA and FLSA. Still also provides proactive compliance advice and counseling to employers on employment practices and policies. She has been Florida Bar Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law since 2001 and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator. She received her B.A. from Florida State University and her J.D. from Florida State University, with high honors. She is Martindale-Hubbell AV rated.

George Weinstein, Of Counsel at Ward Damon, concentrates on estate planning and related income, gift and estate tax issues. He is an attorney and certified public accountant, and is licensed to practice in Florida and Connecticut. He was a former tax partner in the international accounting firm of Deloitte and the regional director of that firm’s personal financial planning services.

Weinstein taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University Of Miami School Of Law. He holds the highest ranking from Martindale-Hubbell law directory and is listed in Who’s Who in American Law. He is a past Trustee of the Jewish Community Foundation of South Palm Beach County, and past president and Director of the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council. He is past Trustee of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, a past Director of the Gold Coast Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning, and served on the Planned Gift Committee of Boca Raton Community Hospital Foundation and United Way of Palm Beach County. Weinstein holds his J.D. from Yale University Law School, an M.B.A. from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
