Justin Axelrod Joins Broad and Cassel’s Orlando Office

ORLANDO, Fla.; February 6, 2012 — The Florida-based law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Justin M. Axelrod, who joins the Corporate and Securities Practice Group in the Orlando office.

Axelrod joins the firm from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where he served as a tax consultant advising on federal taxation and the application of federal tax law, and identifying significant compliance issues. He also worked for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel as a tax attorney. In 2008, he was appointed to the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, a Federal Advisory Committee by the U.S. Secretary of Treasury. He has also provided pro bono tax services for the low-income at Three Rivers Legal Services.

Axelrod is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, cum laude, where he also received a Master of Science in Taxation. He received his juris doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and United States Tax Court.
