MIAMI (Jan. 26, 2012) – The law firm of Tew Cardenas LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Jesse Unruh has joined the firm as an associate. Unruh is the third associate to join the firm’s expanding commercial litigation practice in the last year.
A Miami-based commercial law firm, Tew Cardenas LLP represents, advises, and counsels for a full array of clients, including individuals, domestic and international companies and federal, state and local governments.
Unruh focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation matters and also practices in the areas of environmental, land use, and local government law. Unruh earned his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, in 2011 from the Florida State University College of Law where he was executive editor of the FSU Law Review, a recipient of the Law Review’s Meritorious Service Award as well as the FSU Moot Court Team’s William Van DerCreek Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Team. He participated in FSU’s Environmental and Land Use Law Certificate Program, ranked 6th in the Nation by U.S. News & World Reports, and was awarded the certificate with highest honors. Most recently, he was inducted into the National Order of the Coif, Florida State University Chapter. He holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom and received his undergraduate degree from Flagler College in 2004.
