Jason Gaskill named 'partner in charge' of Adams and Reese Sarasota


Jason Gaskill has become partner in charge of Adams and Reese’s Sarasota office. Gaskill is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group and intellectual property and technology team, and he handles a variety of commercial litigation matters.

Gaskill joined Adams and Reese in 2010 following the firm's expansion into Sarasota. He is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group and Intellectual Property and Technology Team. Jason also serves as the Partner in Charge of the Sarasota office.

Jason handles a variety of commercial litigation matters, including construction litigation, intellectual property litigation, non-compete litigation and real property litigation. He also counsels his clients in various transactional matters involving the procurement and protection of intellectual property assets.

He is admitted to practice in Florida, New Mexico and the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as well as the United States District Courts in Middle, Northern and Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court of New Mexico, the United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Jason currently serves as Past-President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association. He is also Chair of the Website Committee of the Sarasota County Bar.

Jason received his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2002, and earned his B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 1999.
