Rachel previously served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Joel F. Dubina of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Montgomery, Alabama, and has worked as an extern and summer associate at several law firms in Atlanta, Georgia while earning her degrees. She received her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was Executive Articles Editor for the Georgia Law Review and a member of the Negotiation Team, winning first place in the First Annual Transactional Lawyering Meet. She received her B.A. in History from the College of Charleston Honors College.
