Florida Muslim Bar Association encourages attorneys to attend Iftaar events

Emerge-USA has a list of Iftaar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iftar events this month with local elected officials. The Florida Muslim Bar Association encourages attorneys and members of the judiciary to attend. It is an opportunity weeks before the 10th anniversary of 9/11 to show who the Muslim community is, that Ramadan is "shariah law", that Muslims are assets not liabilities to the greater community of Floridians.

August 11: - Coral Springs:  Iftaar with Coral Springs and Parkland City officials

August 13: - Sunrise:  Iftaar at the Islamic Foundation of South Florida with State Senator Nan Rich and Sunrise City Commission
 - Miami: Iftaar with Miami Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez

August 16: - Orlando: Iftaar with City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.

August 20 - Tampa: Iftaar with City of Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and other local officials.
