Crapp has held numerous leadership and government positions in Miami. He began his career as a legislative aide to Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado and was soon promoted to chief of staff. During his time at Miami City Hall, he worked on several legislative issues and provided key research and analysis that facilitated in reviving the financial recovery of the City of Miami.
Crapp is devoted to his civic work in the local community and has been recognized for his leadership abilities. With over 15 years of service to the South Florida community, Crapp has been named an “Up & Comer” by the South Florida Business Journal, was selected as “40 Most Successful Black Professionals Under 40” by South Florida Magazine and was awarded the “Community Leadership Award” by Florida International University. Legacy Magazine also named him as one of the “2011 South Florida’s 50 Most Powerful Black Professionals.” He received his undergraduate degree in political science from Florida International University.
