Hogan Lovells partner Alvin Lindsay, cross-border e-discovery expert, joins ACEDS Advisory Board

May 18, 2011 – Miami – The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists today announced the appointment to its Advisory Board of Alvin Lindsay, a senior partner at Hogan Lovells, one of the largest and most respected law firms in the world.

Mr. Lindsay, who is a member of the inaugural class of attorneys to earn the Certified E-Discovery Specialist certification, is a seasoned litigator in federal and state courts and international arbitration tribunals. He has led the defense of corporations in some of the largest product liability cases, including commercial airline disasters, defective drywall from China, pharmaceutical products, vaccines, tobacco and others.

As co-chair of his firm’s Electronic Information Group and author on litigation technology and electronic evidence, he brings valuable knowledge and experience to ACEDS that will benefit the worldwide e-discovery community. Mr. Lindsay is frequently quoted by major media including the Wall Street Journal and Associated Press on issues relating to electronic evidence and discovery.
