Description: Event Chair Justice Gerald Kogan announces the Ninth Annual Judges and Lawyers Event The tragic 1913 murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan, a white Christian girl in Atlanta, GA, followed by the trial and conviction, commuting of the death sentence and later lynching of Leo Frank, her Jewish supervisor at the National Pencil Company, shook the nation. In conjunction with the Museum's exhibit on this topic "The Leo Frank Case Revised," attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear Atlanta attorney Dale Schwartz discuss his role as lead counsel in the successful effort to obtain a posthumous pardon for Leo Frank in 1986.The event is open to all current or new Museum members (Membership starts at $36 Individual) who are judges or lawyers or in related professions.

Law Firm Challenge
Law firms from all over the country will be competing to become the "Keymorada LexisNexis Law Firm Challenge Champion" by making tax deductible cash contributions. Law firms have been at the forefront of assisting worthwhile charities such as the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. The Keymorada Tournament Committee looks forward to presenting a special trophy that will be held for one year by the law firm that makes the largest cash donation (similar to the Stanley Cup). The Online Bar will host its Inaugural Meeting
on Friday, April 29 through Sunday, May 1
st, 2011
at the Westin Colonnade, 180 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables, Florida. 

This will be our first opportunity to meet each other in person. You will participate in thought-provoking, forward-thinking conversations, panels, alternative legal business modeling sessions and making connections with your new OBA friends!

A special feature is our much anticipated alternative business model design session(s). We will be designing new and creative legal practice business models. ...And getting to know one another/build trust/have fun in the process.
 

The structure of the meeting will be consistent with our vision and culture.  Plan to participate in hands-on business modeling team activities in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. 
 
All participants will be assigned roles based on the information provided in their membership registration, meeting registration, as well as additional information requests prior to the conference. Because assignments are not completed until just before the event, the Final Program is only available at Registration. (However, a Tentative Draft Program will be sent to all registered lead participants in late March.)
